What Is Plate Frame Filter Press?
A plate and frame filter press is a dewatering apparatus that is utilized to extract water from sludge. It comprises of metal plates and frames that alternate with a filter medium or cloth in between. The sludge is fed into the center of the press, and pressure is applied to squeeze out the water, which is subsequently captured by the filter cloth.

This process utilizes a beating-up force of 0.3-3.5 tons after each weft crosses the warp. Jingjin’s filter cloths feature 50% more filtration holes per unit area compared to others, significantly enhancing filtration speed. The cloth is woven under controlled temperature and humidity conditions to eliminate fabric burrs caused by static electricity.
