Dewatering Screw Press Machine-New Technology Introduction
A dewatering screw press machine, also known as a screw press dehydrator or screw press separator, is a device widely used for separating liquids from solids by applying mechanical pressure. It finds applications in various industries, including wastewater treatment, food processing, mining, and agriculture.
Jingjin’s dewatering screw press machines are known for their robust construction and advanced technologies, ensuring effective dewatering performance. The features and specifications of these machines may vary depending on the specific model and application requirements.
Advantages of Dewatering Screw Press Machines
1.High Dewatering Efficiency: Jingjin machines are designed to deliver exceptional dewatering efficiency, effectively separating liquids from solids.
2.Versatile Applications: Suitable for dewatering sludge, wastewater, food processing waste, mining tailings, agricultural byproducts, and more.
3.Cost-Effective Operation: These machines maximize dewatering performance while minimizing energy consumption and maintenance needs.
4.Robust Construction: Built with high-quality materials, Jingjin machines ensure durability and a long service life.
5.Advanced Control Systems: Often equipped with sophisticated control systems, allowing operators to optimize the dewatering process.
6.Ease of Maintenance and Operation: Designed for straightforward maintenance and user-friendly operation.
How does the Dewatering Screw Press Machine work?
1.Gravity dewatering: Under the action of gravity, the sludge enters the gravity dewatering zone through the filter belt, and the free water is quickly removed under the guidance of the mud rake and the action of gravity.
2.Wedge pre-pressing dewatering zone: The sludge then enters the wedge pre-pressing dewatering zone, where the residual free water in the sludge is reduced to a minimum by slowly increasing the pressure.
3.Screw extrusion: The sludge after pre-pressing dewatering is sent to the screw pressing section. In this area, the sludge is sandwiched between the upper and lower layers of filter cloth. Through the rotation of the screw shaft and the action of the pressing roller, the sludge is strongly squeezed to further dehydrate.
4.Self-cleaning filter seam: The dewatering screw press adopts multi-overlapping spiral filter belts, which has the characteristics of self-cleaning filter seams, reducing the possibility of blockage, saving water and electricity, and improving the durability of the equipment.
Key Equipment and Components in a Dewatering Screw Press Machine Setup
1.Dewatering Screw Press Machine: The core equipment responsible for the solid-liquid separation process.
2.Feed System: Introduces the feed mixture, containing liquids and solids, into the dewatering screw press.
3.Control System: Includes a control panel, sensors, and instrumentation to regulate variables such as screw speed, feed rate, pressure, and discharge.
4.Motor and Drive System: Comprises an electric motor, gearboxes, belts, or direct drive mechanisms, depending on the machine’s design.
5.Screen or Filter: Surrounds the screw inside the machine, allowing liquid to pass through while retaining solid material.
6.Discharge System: Collects and removes the separated liquid and dewatered solids from the machine.
